Shenzhen Guangya Technology Co., Ltd. (trading as "Budbeam") ("Budbeam", "we") values your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it when you use the Budbeam application preinstalled on supported projector devices and related services (collectively, the "Service").

1. Information We Collect

Depending on how you use the Service, we may collect the following information:

• Account information — your email address, password (stored as a hash; we cannot read the plaintext), and an account identifier. Registration is required to use the Service.
• Purchase & transaction information — if you purchase paid content (such as a content pack), the transaction is processed by Paddle, which acts as the merchant of record. We only receive entitlement status and non-sensitive confirmation (such as an order identifier).
• Content usage information — which holiday scenes you download or play, and basic interaction and playback records. We use this to deliver content, verify your entitlements, and improve the Service.
• Device & connection information — device model, operating system and app version, device identifiers used for licensing, and your IP address.
• Diagnostic information — we do not currently collect crash or diagnostic logs, and we do not use any third-party analytics or crash-reporting SDKs. If we adopt an open-source, self-hosted diagnostic tool in the future, that data remains first-party and is not shared with third parties.
• Contact information — if you contact our support team at support@budbeam.top, we receive your email address and message.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

• provide, maintain and improve the Service;
• deliver the holiday projection content you request to your devices;
• deliver content and verify entitlements;
• process purchases and verify entitlements;
• respond to your support requests;
• comply with legal obligations.

3. Device & Content Delivery

The Budbeam application runs on your projector device, where it comes preinstalled on supported projector hardware. Holiday scenes and content packs are downloaded from our servers to your projector for local playback. The way content is delivered may change as the app is updated.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as necessary to operate the Service:

• Payment platforms — Paddle (acting as merchant of record), to process purchases and transactions;
• Cloud hosting & infrastructure providers — to deliver content and provide account services.

We do not use any third-party analytics or crash-reporting SDKs, and we do not provide personal information to other third parties except the necessary partners listed above.

5. Storage & International Transfer

Shenzhen Guangya Technology Co., Ltd. is the operating entity behind Budbeam, based in China. To provide the Service, your information may be transferred to and processed on our servers located in the United States and Europe. We apply reasonable safeguards to protect information during any cross-border transfer.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to provide the Service and fulfill our legal obligations. You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Section 8).

7. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

9. Your Rights
